WCC Welcomes Chroma Technology

Windham Career Connections thanks Chroma Technology Human Resource Director Angela Earle Gray and Senior System Engineer Nicholas Day for a welcoming visit to their Bellows Falls site and a review and strategic evaluation of the WCC platform.  Chroma created an Employer profile and will post future employment opportunities to the WCC network.  These building blocks will help provide important career pathway information to WCC users.  Chroma’s new Rockingham site has a great deal to offer regional students, job seekers and the community.

Senior System Engineer Nicholas Day expressed a need to continuously keep avenues open for baccalaureate and masters level internships for students in pre-professional programs and regional training.  We also discussed the promise of assessment tools like You Science for helping career seekers identify their own strengths and a potential future in the high growth, high pay and high demand field of fiber optics and advanced manufacturing.

As regional employers, educators and service providers gravitate toward the ease and simplicity of posting content to the Windham Career Connections site, the network gets closer and closer to realizing its vision of taking advantage of the resources, opportunities and people we already have right here in Southern Vermont.
