ServSafe Manager Certification
The Windham Regional Career Center will offer Serve Safe Manager training designed for experienced food service professionals. The class is structured for individuals working in the culinary trade and desire a certification program that aligns with their busy schedule and industry knowledge. Instructor Julie Robinson will supply materials to be covered before the class takes place. Participants will receive their textbook and a pre-test in advance of the first class in order to identify deficit areas for certification testing.
The National Restaurant Association’s ServSafe Manager Certification verifies that a manager or person-in-charge has sufficient food safety knowledge to protect the public from food borne illness. Individuals that successfully pass the 90-question, multiple-choice exam will receive a ServSafe Manager Certification and wallet card. The ServSafe Manager Certification is accredited by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) under the Conference for Food Protection Standards.
