WRCC Welding Technology I
Windham Regional Career Center Adult Career & Technical Education is pleased to announce Welding Technology I.
Upon completing the course, you will receive a certificate of completion from the Windham Regional Career Center that documents the amount of classroom and shop hours. This course does not include a welding certification. However, WRCC Basic Welding does utilize basic American Welding Society safety protocols and serves as an experience that would help prepare the participant to advance towards Industry Recognized Credentials. An assessment of basic skills and safety is conducted at the end of class as a tool for learning. Welding is a sought after skill set in a variety of different industries.
This introductory project based, hands-on course covers two types of welding: Metal Insert Gas (MIG) and Oxygen-Acetylene. Plasma cutting will also be covered and utilized for projects. Welding students will be provided supplies to complete and end table or a stool. In addition, the instructor can evaluate home-based projects that the student wants to bring to the shop as a class project.
Leather shoes or boots, long pants and long sleeves are required clothing for Welding Technology I.

Wednesdays 6:00pm to 9:00pm, September 25th – November 20th
Monday 6:00pm to 9:00pm, October 21st

Registration & Cost: The 30 hour course costs $450 per person, includes project supplies and consumables, register below or hard copy. Min 6/Max 8 enrollment.
